Todd Kluver

Todd Michael Kluver, the son of Loren Kluver and Deanna Griese, was born on March 28, 1964 in Alexandria Minnesota. While growing up in Alexandria, Todd raced go-karts and attended stock car races at Viking Speedway with this dad, brothers, uncles, cousins, and friends.  Todd graduated from Jefferson High School in the Class of 1982 in Alexandria. He continued his education graduating from Alexandria Technical College with a degree in Welding.  After college, Todd moved to Minneapolis where he worked for Harmony Engineering.  In 1990, Todd began working for Northland Process Piping where he was currently employed as a manager/supervisor of job sites all around the United States.

Todd married his high school sweetheart, Cindy Geris, on August 2, 1986 in Alexandria, MN.  Together they raised their son Cody.  Todd’s employment allowed him and his family to live in California for a couple of years and New York for 13 years, coming back to Minnesota in 2018.

His passion for racing was passed down by his father; Todd was able to pass down this passion for racing to his son, Cody.  Todd’s love of racing started with go-karts, moving up to Modified with his brother Ricky, stock car #6x.  Todd was fortunate to give his son and wife the opportunity to attend many NASCAR races over the years.  Cody was able to meet all his favorite drivers and become a favorite fan of many of them in their NASCAR family.  Todd also had the opportunity to attend Victory Junction in N.C. with Cody and Cindy.  Victory Junction is a camp for families who have chronically ill children.  All of these special trips and experiences with Todd will be forever remembered with love and joy by Cody and Cindy.

Family was everything to Todd.  He loved family get-togethers and joking around with his brothers, relatives, and friends.  He will be remembered for his quick wit, larger than life personality, his contagious happiness and his smile (smirk) whenever he pulled a prank on someone.  Todd enjoyed dogs and loved a good ride on his Harley.   He was a generous man with a huge heart who will be dearly missed by all who had the opportunity to know and love him.

Todd M. Kluver died on Monday, March 23, 2020 at the St. Cloud Hospital at the age of 55.  He is survived by loving wife of 33 years, Cindy Kluver of Alexandria; son, Cody Kluver of Alexandria; mother, Deanna Griese of Alexandria; brother, Ricky Kluver of Alexandria; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; extended family, Kathy Wheeler, Gerald Geris, Chuck (Janice) Geris, Curt Geris (Margo), Bruce (Cindy) Peterson, Laurie (Curt) Flesner, Mike Peterson, Brenda Larson, Vicki (Jason) Sward, and Maureen “Beanie” Geris.

Todd was preceded in death by his father Loren “Sonny” Kluver, infant son Isaac Kluver, and his brother Kevin Kluver.
