Timothy Nolan

Timothy Lee Nolan was born June 26, 1949 in Alexandria, Minnesota, the son of Wallace and Violet (Benson) Nolan.  Tim was raised in Osakis, Minnesota, and graduated from Osakis High School in 1967.

Tim proudly served our country in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970 and was honorably discharged being awarded with numerous commendations and medals.

In 1970, Tim married Sue Ensign.  Tim and Sue were blessed with three children; Jeff, Dan and Missy.

When Tim’s sons, Danny and Jeff were younger, Tim was actively involved with Boy Scouts. Throughout his life he also enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing with family and friends.

Tim’s customer service skills shone through when working for NAPA and National Bushing in Alexandria.  In 1987, Tim moved to Kansas City, Missouri and enjoyed many years working for Silver Eagle Auto.

On Saturday, January 16, 2021, Tim died at the age of seventy-one years.  He is survived by the mother to his children, Sue Nolan; son Dan Nolan (Nicole) and daughter Missy Ford (Vic);  sisters, Connie Rasmussen (Gene) and Jill Schoeck; brothers, Jack Nolan (Joyce) and Mark Nolan (Jeannie); grandchildren, Jenny (Matt), Maggie (Isaac), Gunner, Greysen, Preston, Ellie and Caileigh; great grandchildren, Xander, Ivory and Nevaeh; many nieces and nephews.  Tim was preceded in death by his parents, son Jeff, grandson Ryan Nolan and great granddaughter Grace Nolan.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021, from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at the Lillian Building in Osakis, Minnesota, with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 pm.   Honorary Urn Bearers are Tim’s grandchildren.   CDC guidelines of social distancing and masks are required.  This service will be live streamed for those unable to attend.
