Shirley Schwardt

Shirley Ann Jobe was born on October 3rd, 1938 in Otisco, MN to Arno and Clara Jobe, the youngest of nine children. On November 7, 1956, she married Marvin Schwardt and to this union they were blessed with three sons, Richard, Allen and David. Shirley spent years on the family farm, enjoyed the outdoors and deer camp. Her passion was sewing and making quilts.

Shirley died, at the age of 83, on Wednesday, December 15th, 2021 at the Galeon in Osakis. She is survived by her sons: Richard, Allen (Hanna) and David (Mary); grandchildren: Michael (Angie) Schwardt, Tasha (Kyle) Baker, Sheila (Steve) Setterlund, Jonas (Jennifer) Schwardt, Sharaya Schwardt and Shawn (Elizabeth) Schwardt; and her great grandchildren: Kalib, Elisha and Christian Schwardt; Morgan, Erika and Levi Baker; Dylan Johnson; Sophie Setterlund and Connor, Carter and Sarah Schwardt. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband: Marvin; parents: Arno and Clara; as well as her siblings and daughter-in-law: Carolyn Schwardt. There will be a private family memorial at a later date.
