Randall "Randy" Steuck

Randall “Randy” Steuck, age 59, died April 13,2022 in Alexandria, MN.

Randy was born on July 8, 1962, in Pipestone, MN.  He was the first of two sons, Randy and Ryan born to Carl and Beverly (Grieme) Steuck.

From his earliest days, he was all about wheels, water, and music.  If he could drive it, he loved it.  This led to a mostly lifelong career of behind the wheel or on the move.  The majority of that time was spent at Schwan’s, Spee-Dee Delivery, and Henry’s Foodservice with a long list of interesting jobs scattered in between.  Of course, the love of wheels included anything fast and loud, such as boats, bikes, sleds, muscle cars, and his favorite dirt track racing.

Music was very important to Randy, whether listening to it or playing guitar.  Never a day without music.  He also loved to be near the water swimming, skiing, fishing, or just cruising around the lake.  He was a good pool player, a lousy golfer, a half decent handyman,  and tried hard to be a good husband and father.

On August 10, 1998, Randy married Lisa Howard in Duluth, MN.  They made a home together in Hermantown, MN, raising a daughter, Hannah and a son, Austin until they decide to move to Alexandria in 2007.  Shortly after they were blessed with another daughter, Katelyn and have lived here ever since.  Family was always the most important thing to Randy.  He always challenged his children to do the “harder right thing.”

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2022, 4:00 – 6:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home.  Visitation will continue on Monday, April 25, 2022, 10:00-11:00 AM at First Lutheran Church in Alexandria with a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM.  Burial will be at Kinkead Cemetery.  Blessed be his memory; may he rest in peace.
