Patricia Pahl

Patricia Ann Kraemer was born April 1, 1944 in Alexandria, MN, the daughter of LeRoy and Gertrude(Stich) Kraemer.  She attended Sacred Heart school in Urbank, MN and graduated from Parkers Prairie High School in 1962.

On April 18, 1964 Patricia was united in marriage to Richard lee Pahl at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Urbank. The couple was blessed with a wonderful daughter, Pamela Kay.

Pat and Dick were involved in the food service industry for many years. The last business they operated was The Other Place restaurant in Alexandria. Their daughter, Pam, was also part of that operation along with grandchildren Blaine and Michael. Throughout her entire career Pat worked side by side with Dick and her family.

Pat enjoyed growing flowers and taking walks. She also liked to travel and read. She loved her dogs, Joy and Betsy, who brought her much happiness. Pat’s greatest source of joy in life was her husband, Dick; her daughter, Pam and being able to watch her grandchildren, Blaine and Michael, and great granddaughter, Taylor grow up. Pat loved her family dearly as they loved her.

On Saturday, April 7, 2018 Pat died at the age of seventy-four years. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Debra Kraemer; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Herb & Mavis Pahl, Sue Conte and Helen Garcia. Pat is survived by her husband Dick Pahl of Alexandria; Pamela Kay Thompson and husband, Darrin, of Alexandria; grandchildren, Michel lee Thompson and Blaine Marie Kostreba and husband, Joseph; great granddaughter, Taylor Kostreba; brothers, Doug Kraemer and wife, Barb, Stan Kraemer and wife, Mary Beth, and Greg Kraemer and wife Marsia; sisters, Carol Koep and husband, Wayne, Jeanne Kraemer, Jane Bitzan and husband, Arnie, and Judy Love and husband, Kevin; numerous nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Steve Pahl and wife, JoAnna, and Alan Pahl and wife, Sue; and sister-in-law, Charleen Martin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 AM Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the Church of St. Mary in Alexandria. Enichement will be in the columbarium in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
