Lorna D. (Stern) Beilke was born on November 5, 1937, in Albert City, Iowa to Albert and Fay (Ahntholtz) Stern. She attended and graduated from Albert City High School in 1955. She moved to Denver, CO after high school with one of her girlfriends, and it was there that she met her husband, William Beilke, who was stationed at the air force base. On March 23, 1958, the couple was united in marriage, and to this union their son, Matthew Beilke, was born.

During her retirement, she loved to travel around the world to Europe, Mexico, Hawaii, Florida, and Minnesota. She often made these trips with family to attend family reunions. In 2015, Lorna moved to Arizona with her son and his family. Two years later they moved to Minnesota to be closer to their relatives.

Lorna was caring, fun-loving and a friend to all she met. She enjoyed dancing, family get togethers, and the occasional scratch-off or trip to the casino.
