Fran enjoyed playing bridge, golfing, and beating Dave in gin rummy.  Fran and Dave spent 25 years living on Lake Brophy, where Fran enjoyed boating and fishing.  In 2004, Fran and Dave moved into a townhome on Lake Connie in Alexandria.  Fran and Dave enjoyed traveling, taking many memorable road trips to Arizona and Mexico.  Fran and Dave also traveled abroad, vising Italy, France, Germany, and Norway.

Fran is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Dave, of Alexandria; son and daughter-in-law, Marty and Heidi, of Alexandria; twin grandchildren, Niklas and Aili; brother, Bob; sisters Maggie (Warren) Veazie, Pat Ehlen, and Jeanne Brower. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
