Wendy Kittelson

Wendy Nadine (King) Kittelson was born on December 5, 1955, to Richard and Sharon (Ritzman) King in Menomonie, WI. The family moved to Alexandria in 1967, and Wendy graduated from Jefferson High School in 1974.

Wendy was married to Dale Kittelson on November 25, 1977.  The couple was blessed with two children, Dana and DJ.  Wendy worked a variety of jobs where she enjoyed doing daycare, bookkeeping, working as a clerk for the city of Carlos, and being the postmaster for the Carlos Post Office.

Wendy enjoyed her dogs, snowmobiling, reading, collecting antiques, nature, quiet time in the woods, and family get togethers, especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Wendy died on Friday, July 3, 2020, at the Sanford Hospital in Fargo at the age of 64.  She is survived by her daughter, Dana (Ryan) Cordes; son, DJ (Mary) Kittelson; grandchildren, Jayger, Jory, Dilan, Rowan and Jarrett; sister, Cindy Shirk; and brother, Wayne King.  Wendy is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Sharon; brother, Jon; and brother-in-law, Robert Shirk.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
