Trina Marie Hubenette

Trina Marie Hubenette, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed at the age of 58 on April 25th , 2025, peacefully at home, surrounded by her family. Trina was born September 24th, 1966, to Larry and Deanna Knudson, in Alexandria Minnesota. Trina attended Jefferson High School in Alexandria, MN. She then met her husband Karl Hubenette and were married May 5th, 1984. Soon after marrying the love of her life, she welcomed her first child, Jesse. She went on to have two more children, Shanna, and Kyla. Trina worked various jobs until starting at Arrowwood Resort and Conference Center. She went on to work at Arrowwood for 35 years before leaving due to her health declining. She was loved and adored by everyone who worked with her, and made some wonderful lifelong friends, who were like family to her, along the way. Trina also worked with her two daughters, and son, which made work for her a little stressful, but very entertaining. She cherished every moment she spent with everyone she worked with, and all her devoted regulars. Trina was Diagnosed in May of 2023, with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. She battled her Cancer for two years, never giving up and never losing hope. She fought hard, even after losing her beloved daughter, Shanna, suddenly in June of 2023. Trina was kind, loving, beautiful and most of all she was strong. Trina enjoyed spending time with family, decorating for the holidays, floating in the pool, going on trips with her family, cooking, gardening, and shopping. She loved spoiling her grandchildren and watching Wheel of Fortune with her husband most of all. Trina was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, always putting others before herself. Everyone who had the honor of meeting Trina will always miss her kind heart, fighting spirit and beautiful smile. Trina is preceded in death by her Daughter; Shanna Hubenette, Father; Larry Knudson, Father In-Law; Glenn Hubenette, Mother In-Law; Marilyn Hubenette, and Mother In-Law, Violet Snook. Trina is survived by her Husband; Karl Hubenette, Children; Jesse Hubenette (Staci Hubenette), Kyla Hubenette (Jacob Larson), Mother; Deanna Knudson, Siblings; Clayton (Scott) Knudson, Barb Knudson, and Sherri Knudson, Grandmother; Lela Ballard and Grandchildren; Madison, Isabella, Ivy, Avery, Rylie, Alaina, Josie, Haili, and Rylen.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Friday, May 2, 2025, 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the Anderson Funeral Home with a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM.
