Therese Ann Peterson

Therese Ann Peterson, a beloved daughter and sister, peacefully passed away at the Evansville Care Center in Evansville, Minnesota on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on January 14, 1959, in Granite Falls, Minnesota, Therese was raised in a loving family who later moved to Brandon, Minnesota, where she proudly graduated from Brandon High School.

After completing the secretarial administrative program at Alexandria Technical College, Therese began working as a secretary at the Target store in Alexandria. Her warm smile and diligent work ethic made a lasting impression on her colleagues for many years.

A lifetime member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Brandon, Therese cherished her faith and was actively involved in church functions. She found joy in reading, traveling, and most importantly, spending quality time with her nieces and nephews.

Therese is survived by her loving brother, Michael (Cathy) Peterson; nieces and nephews, Jaclyn (Ethan) Buckmeier, Elizabeth (Raymond) Fredette, and Adam Peterson; great nieces and nephews, Daniel, Lucy, James, and William Buckmeier and Gus and Philomena Fredette.

Her memory will forever be held close by those fortunate enough to have shared moments with her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 11 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Brandon, MN.

A visitation will take place on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 5-7 PM with a 7 PM Rosary at the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria, MN.

A visitation will also be held one hour prior to the Mass at the church on Friday.

Interment will be in the St. Ann’s Cemetery in Brandon, Minnesota.

Therese was preceded in death by her parents, Palmer and Patricia Peterson and sister Paula Meisner.
