Steven Warner Steidl, the son of Warner and LaVonne (Larson) Steidl, was born on December 4, 1956 in Belle River Township, near Nelson, MN.  Steve worked as a free lance mechanic, welder, and truck driver throughout his life.  He especially enjoyed working on recreational vehicles like snowmobiles, motorcycles, and boat motors.  He had a quick wit and liked to fish.   Steve seemed happiest when he was riding his bike or snowmobile.

Steven W. Steidl died on Monday, February 17, 2020 at Bethany on the Lake in Alexandria at the age of 63 years old.  He is survived by his children, Carrie Retzack (Steidl) of St. Cloud, Robert (Ashley) Bueckers of Albany, Jackie Steidl of Albany, Tina Doll of Monticello, Cheryl (Corey) Bueckers of Melrose, and Peter Doll of Fredrick, WI; 10 grandchildren, sisters, Kathryn (Michael) Eddy of Nelson and Barb (Tim) Paulzine of Slayton; brothers, Richard (DeAnne) Steidl of Nelson and Scott (Abbie Bucio) Steidl of Alexandria; nieces, nephews, cousins and special friend Joyce of Alexandria.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jeannie Steidl; parents, Warner and LaVonne Steidl; and brothers, Charles Steidl and Donnavon Steidl.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 11 AM at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with Father Dave Petron officiating.  A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
