Steven Brockopp

Steven James was born on March 4, 1960, in Minneapolis, Minnesota the son of Gerald and Dorothy (Hoppe) Brockopp.  When Steven was young the family moved to Alexandria where he graduated from Alexandria High School and then attended Alexandria Technical College receiving a degree in accounting.

On April 12, 1995 Steven was united in marriage to Rosemary.  The couple lived in Buffalo Lake and during this time Steven worked for Hutchinson Technologies.

Steven will be remembered as a very intelligent, precise man who enjoyed sports, watching soap operas and reading comic books.

Steven died on Tuesday, January 22, 2019.  He is survived by his wife, Rosemary; mother, Dorothy; brothers: Bruce (Sharon), Timothy; niece, Amber; nephew, Titan (Ann); great nephew Ty Jr.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019, 1:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home.  Burial will be at the Kinkead Cemetery in Alexandria.
