Sherri Lynn (Biss) Field passed away on Wednesday, April 15th, 2026, at the age of 59. A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 PM on Friday, May 8th, 2026, at Anderson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
Sherri was born on February 8, 1967, in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. She spent many years building a life in Delano, Minnesota, where she raised her family and created a home filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories.
In her retirement years, Sherri embraced a life of adventure. Alongside her husband, Bill, she traded a traditional home for the open road, traveling in their RV and exploring North America together. She primarily split her time between Apache Junction, Arizona, and Alexandria, Minnesota, while making countless memories along the way.
To Sherri, home was never just a place. It was being with the people she loved and doing the things that brought her joy, something she lived out every day.
Sherri spent much of her career working in the Betty Crocker Kitchen at General Mills, contributing to products like Super Moist Cake Mix and the Pillsbury Bake-Off Contest.
Sherri made it a goal to retire young and live life in shorts and sandals — she did exactly that. She was an incredible baker and a talented gardener, and she loved spending time outdoors, whether hiking, waterskiing, or enjoying long days on the boat with her family on Lake Mary.
Sherri will be remembered for her incredible pies, always having a Diet Coke in hand, and her love of dark chocolate. Above all, she will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her deep love for her family, and the kindness she showed to everyone she met.
She is survived by her husband, Bill; son, Dillon (Rena); daughter, Hannah (Adam); granddaughter, Victoria; parents, Judy and Roger; brother, Paul (Christy); and many loving members of the extended Field family.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
