Shanna Jean Hubenette

Shanna Jean Hubenette “Nanners”, 35, of Alexandria Minnesota, passed away on June 28^th, 2023, in her home unexpectedly.

Shanna was born December 21^st, 1987, to Karl and Trina Hubenette, in Alexandria Minnesota.

Shanna graduated from Jefferson High School in 2006, she then got her CNA and started at Bethany Home as a Nurse Assistant.

In 2010, Shanna started at Alexandria Technical and Community College to pursue a degree in Licensed Practical Nursing. Graduating with her new degree in 2012, she started her first job as an LPN at Knute Nelson.

Shanna went on to work with her mother, Trina, and sister, Kyla, at Arrowwood Resort and Conference Center as a Supervisor in the restaurant, a job in which she loved dearly.

Shanna enjoyed baking, crafting, singing, listening to music, along with spending time with family and friends always making everyone around her laugh, even if it was at her own expense (which happened often). Most of all she loved being a mother. She had a great sense of humor along with an infectious smile that lit up any room. Shanna will be so very missed by everyone that had the honor and privilege of knowing her. God has gained a beautiful angel, and we are sure she tripped over the gate into heaven. We will love you forever and always, Shanna!

Shanna was preceded in death by her Grandfather; Larry Knudson, Grandfather; Glenn Hubenette, Grandmother; Marilyn Hubenette, and Grandmother; Violet Snook.

Shanna is survived by her Daughters; Madison Roering and Avery Gibney, Parents; Karl and Trina (Knudson) Hubenette, Siblings; Jesse Hubenette (Staci Hubenette) and Kyla Hubenette (Jacob Larson), Grandmother; Deanna Knudson, Nieces; Haili, Isabella, Ivy, Rylie, Alaina, and Nephew; Rylan, Great-Grandmother Lela Ballard, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held at Anderson Funeral Home on Thursday July 6^th  from 5pm-7pm, then visitation continues Friday July 7^th from 10 am-11 am with a Memorial service at 11 am at the Anderson Funeral Home.
