Roger Busch

Roger Donald Busch was born on July 29, 1959, in Alexandria, Minnesota to Donald and Bernadine (Klimek) Busch.  He graduated in 1977, from Jefferson High School in Alexandria and enjoyed working as a cook at Roger’s Steakout.  Roger enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged in 1981.  He moved to Northome, Minnesota where he started his own ranch.  During the spring and fall seasons, Roger enjoyed working for Wilwand Farms in Pembina, ND.

Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outside.  He also had a passion for cooking and made some of the best hashbrowns.  He also loved being with his family and especially loved his family time during Christmas.

Roger died on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at the Barrett Care Center in Barret, MN at the age of 62.  He is survived by his sisters, Marjorie Busch of Phoenix, AZ, Lori (Doug) Johnson of Fort Worth, TX, and Brenda (Bryan) Hellerman of Parkers Prairie, MN; and many nieces and nephews.  Roger is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Bernadine; sisters, Bonita Prescott and Nancy Busch; brother-in-law, David Holm; and nephew, James Holm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Millerville.  Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at the church.
