Robert "Bob" Lee

Robert Lyle Lee was born October 4, 1942 in Soldier, IA to Lyle and Eileen (Outhouse) Lee. He graduated from Mapleton High School in Mapleton, IA in 1960. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. On September 22, 1962, Robert was united in marriage to Eleanor Barkhurst and together they raised 4 daughters. He worked for the Omaha Public Power District for 32 years before retiring with his wife to Alexandria, MN.

Robert passed away on January 20, 2021 at Alomere Health at the age of 78.  He is survived by his 4 daughters: Laurie Russell of Omaha, NE, Victoria (Greg) Vacha of Howells, NE, Michelle (Richard) Bliss of Omaha, NE and Kathryn (Jesse) Cochran of Alexandria, MN; 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife: Eleanor; his parents: Lyle and Eileen Lee; his sister: LaQuitta Miller and his grandson: Jason Vacha.

A private family memorial service will be held.
