Robert Didier

Robert Anthony Didier was born on January 22, 1953, in Alexandria, Minnesota to Aloyisus and Julia (Griebe) Didier.  He graduated from Osakis High School in 1971.  Bob went to work for his brother, Donald where he drove garbage truck for Osakis Refuse for 25 years.  After his brother sold the business, Bob went to work for Osakis Silo driving truck.  Bob then went to work for Tim Bittner Masonry where he drove cement truck.  He retired at the age of 62.

Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting different items, and music.  He had a love of nature and enjoyed feeding the birds, especially the hummingbirds.  Bob will be missed.

Bob died on Friday, February 11, 2022, at Alomere Health at the age of 69.  He is survived by his siblings, Jerome (Jan) Didier of Elk River, Karen (Maurice) Mallin of Osakis, Michael Didier of Osakis, and Mark (Fran) Didier of Alexandria; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Aloyisus and Julia; brother, Donald; and sister, Rita.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00–6:00 PM on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at the Roy-Hetland Funeral Home in Osakis with a time of sharing at 6:00 PM.
