Randall William Schauer

February 7, 1964 — May 7, 2024

Alexandria

Randall (Randy) William Schauer died May 7, 2024, at the St. Cloud Hospital at the age of 60. Randy was born February 7, 1964, in Alexandria, Minnesota to Elaine (Patrick) Schauer and James Schauer. Randy has three older sisters and loved to remind them he was the “baby” of the family.

Randy was close to his mother his whole life. Randy graduated from Jefferson Senior High School in 1982. Growing up Randy had many friends and enjoyed spending time with them.

Randy married Michelle (Murphy) Schauer in 1985 and was a very proud father to their two children, Nicholas Ryan Schauer and Jordan Elisabeth Schauer. After his divorce in 2005, Randy took great pride in caring for his children as a single father.

Randy worked for many years for Shamrock Productions producing trade shows. Most recently, Randy was a successful salesman for Prime Attachments. Randy loved to talk to people. He had a quick wit and an irreverent sense of humor.

During his lifetime, Randy and his family lived in Apple Valley, Lakeville and Alexandria. Randy was happy to lovingly care for a home and property that was previously owned by his mother and his grandfather. He loved to watch the deer and the wildlife with his cat, Lumi. He took the family dog, Sophie, for many walks to explore.

Randy is preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Elaine (Patrick) and Richard Weber, and is survived by his children, Nicholas Schauer and Jordan Schauer, all of Alexandria, sisters April (Brad) Brejcha of Alexandria, Sue Schultz of Edina, and Stephanie Moe of Oceanside, California.  Randy is survived by nieces and nephews, Cassie (Daniel) Willemstyn, Patrick (Megan) Brejcha, Vanessa Brejcha, Sean (Winona) Schultz, Kyle (fiancée Hannah Fox) Schultz, Matthew, Megan, and Sarah Navratil, as well as great niece and nephews, AJ Holland, Noah and Caleb Brejcha and Eleonore and Monte Schultz.

Gone too soon, Randy will be dearly missed, but never forgotten, by his family and many friends. Randy's children, Nick and Jordan, honored his wishes to donate his organs, which has already resulted in the gift of life being given to many people.
