Patricia Ann (Barthelemy) Perdue, 89, of Alexandria, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 28th.
Pat was born on March 9, 1932, in Alexandria, to Leo and Iva (Quick) Barthelemy. She grew up and attended school in Alexandria and then attended the College of St. Catherine. She married James Harvey Perdue in 1953 and they raised their family in Alexandria. Pat was a teller at Community State Bank and was active in music and theatre. She was a longtime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, where she also directed the choir for many years.
She is survived by her children, Neysa Bonner, of Alexandria and Prescott, AZ; Daniel (Rebecca) Perdue of Alexandria; and Matthew (Patricia Ellis) Perdue of Newnan, GA; her grandchildren, Lindsay (Dr. Matthew) Pavelka of Prescott, AZ; Dr. Ryan (Elizabeth Pechacek) Bonner of Minneapolis; Derek (Becca) Smith of Edmond, OK; and Shelby (Dustin) Notsch of Sauk Rapids; and great-grandchildren, Leo and Jack Pavelka, Walter Bonner, Mackenzie Smith and her sibling on the way, and Arya Notsch.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim; her sister, Geraldine Kamaka; and her son-in-law, Michael Bonner.
A funeral mass and lunch will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, August 7th, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow the mass at St. Mary's Cemetery. For loved ones who wish to attend virtually, the funeral will be live streamed at www.andersonfuneral.net.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to a charity of your choice.
