Mary Viola (Klimek) Waldorf was born to Alexander and Viola (Koep) Klimek on February 23, 1957, in Parkers Prairie, MN. She attended parochial school at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Urbank, MN and later graduated from Parkers Prairie High School. Following High School, Mary attended Alexandria Technical and Community College for Office Administration.
While living in Urbank, Mary met a man from the neighboring town of Millerville named Larry Waldorf. They were married on June 16, 1979, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. They were blessed with four daughters, Tracy, Melissa, Kimberly and Stephanie. Mary was a daycare provider until her youngest daughter was in grade school and then worked various administrative roles in the healthcare industry. Her family has fond memories of going camping together and many memories of how special Mary made the holidays, especially Halloween. Mary had an open door policy on Halloween, inviting everyone she knew inside for chili and apple cider. She enjoyed boating, drawing, and playing the guitar. Mary was extremely caring, had an infectious laugh and loved her kids, grandkids, and grandpuppies dearly. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
