Mark Lee Miller was born on June 2, 1957, in Alexandria, MN the son of Marlene (Baumann) and Wilford Miller. Mark grew up on County Rd. 78 and attended country school and then Osakis Public School where he graduated from in 1975.
In 1973, he met Dolly Paulzine—they became soul mates and married in 1976. They just celebrated their 49th Anniversary together. Mark and Dolly never had children but they had some amazing dogs who became their family.
As a child until 1980, Mark worked with his dad at Miller Well Drilling and at 2 different gas stations in Alexandria. Then Mark worked with his Uncle Jack and cousin Bradley scrapping iron and during this time he worked on getting his license to sell insurance and work investments. He worked with Bob Walsh buying, selling and setting up grain bins. Mark and Dolly also wintered in Texas several winters. Mark worked at Humble Hardware, Georgia Pacific in Logansport, LA and EDM in Dallas, TX. Then Mark opened Double M Sales and ran it for 13 years before he started working at Dist. #206 as the interim mail carrier for all 13 schools in the District.
Mark passed away on Friday, September 26th, 2025 with the love of his life by his side. He is preceded in death by his parents. Mark is survived by his wife, Dolly; two sisters: Sally (Joe) Sletten & Cindy; brother, Ron Webster; brother-in-law, Ken (Bev) Paulzine; uncle, Erv Baumann; aunt, Shirley Miller along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mark made life long friends easily. He had an unusual wit for jokes, loved fishing, hunting and riding his motorcycle across the country with Dolly.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025, 3:00 - 6:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Monday, October 6, 2025, 1:00 - 2:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home with a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM.
