Maggie Krohnfeldt

Magdalen Mildred (Suchy) Krohnfeldt was born on November 8, 1956, in Parkers Prairie, Minnesota the daughter of Tony and Mary (Debilzen) Suchy. She grew up on a farm between Millerville and Urbank. Maggie loved farm life and the animals on the farm. As a young girl she even had a pet goat. She graduated from Brandon High School in 1975.

On September 27, 1975 Maggie and Daryl Krohnfeldt were married at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Urbank. After their marriage the couple lived on Daryls parents farm where Maggie helped on the farm while Daryl worked at 3M. Later on they had their own farm where they raised their son, Brian.

Maggie enjoyed to garden, can and cook. She was a wonderful cook and had many specialties that family appreciated. She especially loved being a grandma to Emma and always made time for her family and friends.

Maggie died on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at St. Williams Living Center in Parkers Prairie. She is survived by her husband, Daryl; son, Brian; granddaughter, Emma; siblings: Marge (Ken) Faber, Rose (Fred) Julig, Loretta (Burnell) Krohnfeldt, Lawrence (Rose) Suchy, George (Bev) Suchy, Bernadette Anderson, Irene (Dave) Bucholtz; sister-in-law, Dorothy Suchy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Andy; brother-in-law, Curtis Anderson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Saturday, May 9, 2026, 2:00 – 3:00 PM at Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Leaf Valley Township with a Funeral Service at 3:00 PM. Burial will be at Ebenezer Cemetery.
