Lori Kay Gewerth

Lori Kay Gewerth, 63, of Alexandria, formerly Redwood Falls, MN, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025, after a brief battle with cancer.

Lori was born on July 26, 1961, in Redwood Falls, MN to Eldrich & Nancy (Garman) Robbins. She was the eldest of four children. She was baptized & confirmed in the St. John’s Lutheran Church. She attended school in Redwood Falls & graduated from Redwood Falls High School in 1979. She married the love of her life, Michael Gewerth, on September 17, 1983. Together they had two wonderful children. They made their home in Morton, MN until moving to Alexandria, MN in 2016.

Lori will be remembered for being the life of the party. She had so many friends from all stages of her life. She loved to paint & give her creations away to all her cherished friends & family. Her favorite pastime was going fishing. She always said being on the lake was her happy place.

Lori is survived by her husband, Michael Gewerth, Daughter, Lacey Dannhoff, Son, Cole Gewerth (Kaitlyn), grandsons Keefer & Keeran Dannhoff, father, Eldrich Robbins, brother, Gregory Robbins (Terri), brother, David Robbins (Shanna), brother-in-law, Steven Hindermann & many beloved nieces & nephews.

Lori was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Robbins, sister, Shelly Hindermann, grandparents, Aaron & Lila Garman & grandparents, Lester & Lucy Robbins.

A Celebration of Life for Lori will be scheduled for a later date.
