Kenneth Boe

Kenneth Melvin Boe was born on May 5, 1945 in Breckenridge, Minnesota the son of Melvin and Regina “Dolly” Boe.  He graduated from Wheaton High School and was active in sports participating in basketball and golf.  After high school, Ken attended Moorhead State University studying business.

Ken was united in marriage to Bonnie Jean Halvorson in 1966 in Moorhead, Minnesota.  To this union two children were born.  The couple enjoyed entertaining family and friends.  Ken was an avid golfer, winning multiple tournaments at the Wheaton Country Club. Ken was an avid sports fan.  He enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves, Oakland Raiders and any University of Minnesota team.

Ken worked in retail and sales for Woolworth and Ben Franklin stores. With locations in California, Montana, North Dakota and Minnesota. Eventually retiring in Glenwood Minnesota.

Ken died on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in Alexandria Minnesota. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; son, Barrett & wife, Val Rae of Plymouth; daughter, Tamara Boe of Brainerd; sister, Shirley.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
