Joanne Sharon Eddy Loeffler May 21, 1946 – January 8, 2026

Joanne Sharon Eddy Loeffler passed away on January 8, 2026, in Navarre, Florida, leaving behind a lifetime of love, memories, and friendships that stretched across the world. She was born on May 21, 1946, in Alexandria, Minnesota.

At the age of 20, she married Fritz Loeffler, her husband of nearly 60 years. As a proud military wife, Joanne supported her husband throughout his service and embraced the adventures that came with military life. Together they traveled the world and lived in several different countries, including the Philippines, Italy, and Spain. Joanne embraced each place with curiosity and warmth, making friends easily and building connections that lasted long after the moves were over.

Together, Joanne and Fritz built a loving family and raised three children: Jason, Todd, and Kelsey. Her family later grew to include five grandchildren—Isaac, Ethan, Emalynn, David, and Alex—who brought her immense joy and pride.

Joanne enjoyed many hobbies throughout her life, especially sewing and quilting, creating beautiful handmade pieces that reflected her patience and creativity. She also loved playing cards and visiting the casino, where one of her favorite pastimes was simply people-watching.

In her younger years, Joanne and Fritz shared a love for golfing, spending many days together on the course. Whether traveling the world, enjoying hobbies at home, or simply sitting and talking with friends, Joanne had a way of making ordinary moments feel special.

She will be remembered for her kindness, her gentle spirit, and the way she made people feel welcome wherever she went. Above all, she will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother.

Joanne is survived by her husband, Fritz; her children, Jason, Todd, and Kelsey; her five grandchildren: Isaac, Ethan, Emalynn, David, and Alex; and her 4 siblings, Gary, Cheryl, Lonnie, and Tami. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Joanne was preceded in death by her father, Lyle Eddy; her mother, Violet Eddy; and her brother, Kevin Eddy.

Her love, kindness, and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
