Jamie Lund

Jamie Michael Lund was born on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis to his loving parents, Aaron Lund and Katherine Hill.  Jamie came into this world at 2:16 PM as a precious 6 pound 5.5 ounce; 18 inch baby boy with dark curly hair.

Jamie was diagnosed at 20 weeks with Pulmonary atresia, Heterotaxy Syndrome with a complete heart block taking away the ability for his heart to beat in sync.  Against all odds, Jamie put up a great fight and touched the hearts of many.

Jamie died on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis, MN at the age of 3 days.  He is survived by his loving parents, Aaron Lund and Katherine Hill of Brandon; paternal grandparents, Vernon and Annette Lund of Brandon; maternal great-grandparents, Marilyn Hardy of Cordova, IL, Marilyn May of Kewanee, IL, and Mary Hill of Bugtussle, KY; paternal great-grandmother, Lois Fearing of Menagha; aunts, Tara Hill of Davenport, IA, April Williams of Davenport, IA, Tanya Michaels of Moline, IL, and Danielle (David) Michaels-Smart of Montgomery, TX; uncles, Paul Michaels of Milan, IL and Joe Reynolds of LaSalle, IL; and many cousins.  Jamie is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Kimberley Loquist and Paul Michaels Sr,; maternal great-grandfathers, John Hill Sr. and Don Hardy; and paternal great-grandparents, George and Ann Lund and Loren Fearing.

A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at the Brandon High School in Brandon.  Visitation will be held from 1-3 PM prior to the service on Saturday with refreshments and fellowship to follow.
