After completing his education at Wadena Technical College, Ed moved to Alexandria, Minnesota, where he began his career with a local phone company. It was during this time that he met Lisa Amundsen, who was immediately charmed by the sight of him driving his blue pickup truck with a red topper. Their paths intertwined, and the two were united in marriage on September 27, 1980. Many fond memories were forged between Ed and Lisa during their 45 years together, including trips to various casinos. Together, they welcomed their son, Jason, further enriching their lives.
Ed was known for his quiet demeanor, a man of few words, but those who knew him understood that when he spoke, you listened to the wisdom he had to share. He had a passion for the outdoors, finding joy in golfing, fishing, and deer hunting.
