Gary Allan Haley, 85, of Alexandria, passed away on June 16, 2026, at Edgewood Memory Care in Sartell, Minnesota.

Gary was born on June 13, 1941, to Eugene and Lillian Haley in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He graduated from Patrick Henry High School in 1959.

After graduation, Gary went on to join the Air Force and served 4 years. After being honorably discharged from the Air Force, Gary started a job at Graco and was employed there for many years. He later started his own business Mid State Hydraulics and Machine in Alexandria. In 1964, he met Louise Janecke, and they wed in 1964. He helped raise 4 children; Linda, Marcia, Paul and David Janecke.

Gary was determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned.

Gary was also a passionate for his Lord and Savior. He could often be found witnessing to others and singing His praises.

Anyone who knew Gary, knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. Gary was predeceased in death by his parents Eugene and Lillian, his wife Louise, his children Linda, Marcia and Paul and his brother Rick. Gary is survived by his son, David (Roxi) Janecke and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also his brother Leo, and his sisters, Carol (Dennis)Troff, Coreen (Rick) Seaton, and Kathlyn Brevia.

The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Spirit Life Church in Alexandria, Minnesota. There will be a funeral service on June 22 at 11 am, visitation at 10 am at Spirit Life Church, 912 State Hwy 29 N. Alexandria, Minnesota.
