Evelyn Enderle

March 11, 1928 — July 5, 2021

Parkers Prairie formerly of Alexandria

Evelyn Carmella Enderle was born on March 11, 1928, in Elbow Lake, Minnesota to Henry and Veronica (Schuster) Enderle.  She was baptized at St. Olaf Catholic Church in Elbow Lake and confirmed at the Church of St. Charles in Herman.  Evelyn attended elementary school in Evansville before moving to Norcross.  After Evelyn attended school, the family moved to a farm near Alexandria, where she helped on the family farm and clean cottages.  She later moved into Alexandria and lived at the Viking Towers.  In 2015, Evelyn moved to St. Williams Living Center in Parkers Prairie.  Evelyn had a passion for reading and feeding the birds.  She placed many feeders in the trees all over the backyard at the farm.  She had three wonderful faithful dogs, that she loved throughout her life.  Evelyn also enjoyed fishing on Lake Latoka, but because she didn’t like cleaning the fish, she would always find one of her brothers to do the job.

Evelyn died Monday, July 5, 2021, at St. Williams Living Center in Parkers Prairie at the age of 93.  She is survived by many nieces and nephews.  Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Veronica; brothers, Mark, Arthur and Donald; and sister, Rosamond.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Alexandria with Father Matthew Kuhn officiating.
