Douglas Lee Watson

Douglas was born on February 16, 1955 in Willmar, Minnesota to Ardell and Elaine Ortenblad. He graduated from Aviation High School, Redondo Beach California in 1973. He married Geralyn Schueller in 1977. The couple had two children, Tarrah and Kristal. Douglas spent most of his life working as a carpenter in commercial and residential construction and then in the maintenance department at Alexandria Industries in Alexandria, Minnesota. Douglas enjoyed his hobbies of woodworking, stained glass art, archery, playing guitar, and riding his motorcycle. He loved listening to and discussing the details of music.

Douglas is survived by his wife, Geralyn; children, Tarrah Cornelia, Durango, Colorado; Kristal Bomstad, Alexandria, Minnesota; six grandchildren; Jade, Jasmine, Dayne, Micah, Parker, Tia; and a great-granddaughter, Luna. He is preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Watson; father, Verle Watson; brother, Craig Watson; brother, Ronald Watson; and nephew Mike Watson.
