Dean Lloyd Biskey

December 19, 1964 — November 14, 2025

Alexandria

Dean Lloyd Biskey passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 14, 2025, at his home at the age of 60. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, November 20th, 2025, at Alexandria Covenant Church with visitation one hour prior to the service.

On December 19, 1964 in Waseca, MN, God blessed Roland and Linda Biskey with a beautiful baby boy whom they named Dean Lloyd Biskey. He was named after a dear friend. Dean grew up on a proud pig farm with his parents and his 2 sisters near Osakis, MN. He would go onto graduate from Osakis High School class of 1983. Dean reminded Becky often that he knows how to do math because he graduated from Osakis, MN, not from Alexandria as a standing joke.

Dean was a simple man with common sense and good morals. He wasn’t into sports much, but boy he sure loved to hunt and fish with his dad and family. He liked hunting and fishing so much that in the fall he would seem to find himself in just a little mild trouble and get himself kicked off the bus for a short period of time. “Oh darn,” he would say, “no bus, no school, then I’m going hunting!”

After school he would go on to work at Coke as a delivery truck driver. The he went on to work at Mills Fleet Farm in the automotive, farm, and at the north door. It was at Mills Fleet Farm where God blessed Dean with a chance to meet the love of his life, Becky. Their first date was on December 14, 1986, where they went tubing but before they left, Dean wound up in a sewer drainage pond smelling like you know what…. yep, it was love at first smell, lol!

By January 2, 1987, Dean asked Becky to marry him with a rose in hand and smell of tires in the air down the tire aisle at Mills Fleet Farm. Only 20 days later, the ring would follow at Christmas time of that year. The Lord must have known that they were going to put a lot of miles on!

On October 19, 1987, Dean went to work for Douglas Machine as an assembler/finisher on the machines for almost 36 years until he retired on May 19, 2023, only to enjoy life and really to work even harder.

Dean and Becky got married on September 10, 1988 on a golden sky day. In April 1989, they welcomed their oldest son, Jovon, then Austin, their middle son in 1993, and Montana, the youngest in 1994. The children completed their family.

In November 2001, the Lord grabbed a hold of Dean’s heart for good. He became a Christian leading our family into faith, and a relation with Jesus Christ. Dean was so proud of who he had become in Christ and took many opportunities to share Jesus with others, even while working at Douglas Machine. God had blessed him with a gift to share Jesus in a special practiced way. Dean loved to share his talent of singing on the worship team at church and praying in the spirit.

Dean had a passion to cook and make sourdough bread along with Dean’s passion for hunting and fishing, our sons quickly grew up loving the same things. Dean thought by getting the family involved he was spending quality time with the family and it worked. He also loved trying and eating new recipes. Dean was a practical joker. Whenever he was nervous, he would start to joke around or pull pranks on people. Most people didn’t know this but Dean was a homebody and just enjoyed staying home watching Star Trek on TV, like Becky and Dean had done every day since his retirement. When Dean was overwhelmed or stressed, he would take to the woods for a walk and to talk to Jesus. His gift of discernment would keep him in tune with the things around him.

I feel really blessed to have been married to him for 37 years and I’m so glad that he had come into our lives. He was my rock, my best friend, my provider, my cook, my spiritual partner, and he will be so dearly missed by all of us. So with all this said I now publicly release Dean’s spirit back to the Lord so he can go home in peace. I thank the Lord each and every day for this beautiful gift that he had given us. I love you Dean! Amen. – Becky.

P.S. I thank you Lord for your love and support and that you would walk even closer with us on this long journey ahead and watch over and protect us throughout our lives until the end.
