Claris Jean Kremer

Claris Kremer, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 14th, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones.

Born June 26, 1947 as the eldest daughter to James and Marvel Aubart in Minneapolis, MN.

Claris graduated from Anoka High School in 1965. After graduation she worked several secretarial jobs until meeting and marrying Carl Kremer. They were united in marriage on September 7, 1968. To this union five sons were born.

Claris found great joy in caring for her home and family. Helping with farm chores and raising five sons kept her busy and gave her fulfillment. Her kitchen was the heart of her home, always filled with fresh-baked sweets—treats that she eagerly shared with friends, neighbors, and anyone who came through her door. Her popcorn balls at Halloween, crust pie and cookies from the freezer to name a few.

Claris enjoyed simple pleasures— fishing, tending her garden, cheering on the Minnesota Wild, and making sure her home was a gathering place for all.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, parents and sister Joanne Ahner.

She is survived by her sons Victor Kremer (Biborly Perez), Nick Kremer, Pete (Kari) Kremer, Vince (Laura) Kremer, Matthew Kremer. Brother, Tom Aubart. Grandchildren, Jenna, Mitch, Adam, Greta, Myah, Thomas, Eli, Wilhelmina and Ophelia. Great-grandchildren, Eleanor, Oliver and Minerva

Her legacy will live on in the family and friends she cherished. She will be deeply missed and forever loved. Special thanks to the staff at Nelson Gables for the care and kindness they gave to Claris.

A visitation will be held Friday, August 22, 2025, 12:00 – 1:00 PM at St. John Nepomuk Church with a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM. Interment will be at Lake Mary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Lake Mary Cemetery are preferred. Arrangements are with Anderson Funeral Home www.andersonfuneral.net
