C. “Jane” Frink, age 90, Carthage, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021, at Mercy Hospital Joplin, Missouri. She was born December 24, 1930, in Little Rock, Arkansas the daughter of late Jasper Newton Rachels and Maude Louise (Fisher) Rachels. She was a 1948 graduate of North Little Rock High School, and then graduated from St Anthony’s Nursing School in Little Rock in 1952. She worked as a RN, retiring from McCune Brooks Hospital as the Director of O.R. She was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church in Carthage, loved being outside beside the water, reading a good book, traveling, animals especially horses and dogs, and spending time with friends and family.
She is survived by her husband Dick Frink; two children, Rick Frink (Robin L.), Carthage, and Robin J. Fink, Carthage; a grandson, Rollins S. Frink (Savanah); and three great grandchildren, Lily, Allexxander, and Elizabeth Frink.
She is also preceded in death by two sons, Ross Frink, and Rollin J. Frink, and a brother Gene Rachels.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, September 24, 2021, at the Kinkead Cemetery Alexandria, Minnesota. The family suggest contributions to Carthage Humane Society in care of the Knell Mortuary. Online condolences may be expressed through www.knellmortuary.com.
