Brent H. Wussow
Brent Henry Wussow was born November 27, 1963 in Alexandria, MN to Norman and Eilene (Meyer) Wussow. Brent was called home on December 18, 2025 after a short, but hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer.
Brent was a baptized and confirmed member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church, Leaf Valley, MN. He farmed with his Dad and brother Stuart on the Wussow Century Farm his entire life. Brent was honored to volunteer with the Leaf Valley Fire Department and First Responders, retiring in August of 2025 after 25 dedicated years of helping those in his community. He spent many hours on various softball fields across Minnesota! Those softball friendships lasted to this day.
Brent married Kristy Miller on September 16, 2006 at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Parkers Prairie, MN. He dearly loved being married to Kristy and his Bonus Children, Nick and Karly Mace. He was a loving and patient father and relished his role as Poppa to Jasper, Nevaeh, Prestin and Kora. He was a fixture going for walks with kids, wagon and bikes surrounding him down the road. He loved teaching them about plants, bugs, frogs, rocks and dinosaurs! Brent loved nature and history and enjoyed road trips with Kristy exploring every museum, wayside rest and historical marker he could find!
Brent was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents and mother-in-law Diane. He is survived by his wife Kristy of Leaf Valley, son Nick (Kendra) of Parkers Prairie and daughter Karly Mace. His grandchildren Jasper, Neveah, Prestin and Kora; Kristy’s parents Richard and Jackie Miller and Dick Lundquist. His brothers Gary and Stuart (Darcy) Wussow; sisters Stacy and Kristi Wussow, nieces Ashley and Megan Wussow who all miss him dearly. Blessed be Brent’s memory.
