Bailey Zastrow

Bailey Scott Zastrow was born on January 19, 1999, to Darin Zastrow and Heather Schwender in Alexandria, Minnesota.

Bailey had a kind soul and a big heart for his family and friends.  He enjoyed the great outdoors that included fishing and many other adventures.  He loved to travel, play cards, swimming, fishing, campfires and occasional trips with his dad on the road in the Big Semi!

Bailey always loved those homecooked meals that were prepared by anyone and would never refuse an invite.

Bailey died on Thursday, March 31, 2022, in Alexandria at the age of 23.  He is survived by his father, Darin Zastrow of Brandon, MN; mother, Heather Schwender of Columbia Heights; step sister, Alysa; step sister, Destiny.  Bailey was preceded in death by grandmother, Mary Schwender; step grandfather, Edward Ardito; grandfather, Scott Zastrow; grandmother, Deborah Zastrow; great-grandparents, Gordon & Betty Jacobs; and great-grandparents, Egner & Phyllis Zastrow.

A Memorial Service will be held 4:30 PM on Friday, April 8, 2022, at Zion Lutheran Church in Alexandria.  Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church.
