Steven Timothy Boesl was born on October 31, 1970, in Alexandria, Minnesota the son of Timothy and Phyllis (Herzog) Boesl. He grew up on a hog farm outside of Garfield and graduated from Jefferson High School in 1989. It was in High School that he met his true love, Kim (Sczublewski.) The couple were married on July 1, 1995 at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Millerville. The couple lived on a dairy farm east of Millerville where they raised their five children. Their kids were a huge part of his life; he loved watching them play hockey and show cattle, sheep, and pigs in 4-H. Family was important to Steve and it showed in everything he did. He owned and operated Boesl Dairy with his dad and 4 brothers. He especially enjoyed being with family. He instilled in his children, nieces, and nephews the importance of hard work and being a good person.
Steve will be remembered as a kind, generous person who was always willing to help others first. This was evident in his family life, but also in the community with his involvement in his Church, the Millerville Fire Department, and Supervisor on the Millerville Township Board. His selflessness and thinking of others showed through to the end as he tried to save his brother and nephew. His huge heart will never be forgotten and his legacy lives on in his children.
Steve joined God in heaven on Saturday, December 21, 2019 after a farming accident. He is survived by his wife, Kim; five children: Paige, Peyton, Dalton, Dylan, and Avery; parents, Tim & Phyllis; siblings, Jeff (Julie), Pam (Adrian) Panther; sister-in-law, Julie, Scott (Erin), Brent (Amanda), Jenny (Greg) Faber; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ron and Barb Sczublewski; brother-in-law, Jeff (Lisa) Sczublewski; sister-in-law, Christa Muzik, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
