After Adolph’s return, Richard was born, and after a long hiatus, they were blessed with the birth of twin sons, Brian and Brent.

She belonged to the Ladies Aid and church circles, as well as the Minnewaska Lutheran Home, the Starbuck hospital and the American Legion Auxiliaries. Arlene enjoyed many interests, including knitting, crocheting, quilting and embroidery. Her beautiful hand stitched quilts are a lasting legacy to her family.
