Hoppe, Harold

Harold William Hoppe was born on July 5, 1921 to Fred and Minnie (Stoeck) Hoppe in Carlos Township on a farm near Alexandria where he also grew up. He attended school through the 8th grade. He farmed for many years. On June 7, 1953, he was united in marriage to Gladys Floding and they had three children. The couple continued to crop farm and milk cows after their marriage until 1982 when they sold the dairy cattle.
