Phyllis K. Weber age 74 of Alexandria died on Saturday May 9, 2015 at her home. A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 23, 2015 at 10:30 AM at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the chapel on Saturday.

OBITUARY

Phyllis Karen Robertson was born September 15, 1940 in Alexandria, MN, the daughter of Wayne and Vivian (Blehr) Robertson. She was raised on a farm near Red Rock Lake and attended school in Kensington, MN. Following her graduation from high school at Kensington Phyllis moved to Beaverton, OR for a short time.
Phyllis returned to Minnesota and made her home in Alexandria. She worked at Fingerhut in Alexandria for many years. Later she worked at the Food ‘n Fuel and Alexa Brick & Stone. When Phyllis retired she was working as a receptionist at KSAX in Alexandria.
Phyllis enjoyed spending time with friends going to the VFW Club visiting casinos, and going out for dinner; she especially liked to go to the China Buffet. She enjoyed spending time reading and doing crossword puzzles. She liked eagles and collected many different knick-knacks, and decorations depicting eagles. Phyllis was a good cook and was known for her coleslaw and rhubarb meringue pie.
Phyllis loved her dogs Skeeter and Tiki; they served as great companions to her. Phyllis’ family was important to her. She enjoyed traveling to visit her brothers and sister and their families. Phyllis especially appreciated the good friends she made in Alexandria. Her close friends were a second family to her; she relied on them and loved them.
On Saturday, May 9, 2015 Phyllis died at the age of seventy-four years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Vivian Lade; and infant daughter; and an infant sister, Marcia. Phyllis is survived by her father, Wayne Robertson and wife, Eileen, of Troutdale, OR; sister, Susanne Krei of Hamel, MN; brother, Curtis Robertson of Aloha, OR; half-brother, Richard Blehr of Kensington; and nieces and nephews, Ricky, Debbie, Timothy, Darlene, Laura, Steven, Scott and Todd.
A funeral service will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria. Interment will follow in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
