OBITUARY
Clara Sophia Mittag was born on August 14, 1932 on the family farm in Leaf Mountain Township to August and Caroline (Sveback) Mickelson. She grew up on the family farm and attended school district #168.
She married Arthur Mittag on November 14, 1951. After several moves, in 1966 they made their home on a farm 10 miles north Alexandria where they raised their seven children. Clara enjoyed taking walks, bird watching, putting puzzles together, traveling, visiting family and friends and watching Survivor.
Clara went home to Heaven on November 26, 2014. She is survived by her husband, Arthur; daughters, Roxanne (John Lenarz) Mittag, Becky (Terry) Larson, Dee Dee (Randy Uhlenkamp) Mittag, Randi (Rob) Mathwig; son, Reno (Emalyn) Mittag and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Roy Mickelson; sister, Ruby Hanson; twin sister, Lena Olson, infant son; daughter, Gwendolyn and son, Ricky.
