Christopher Cronquist

November 16, 1991 — December 18, 2014

Christopher Lee Cronquist passed away December 18, 2014 in his home after a long struggle with depression. Christopher was born November 16, 1991 to Christine Cronquist and Jaime Grossnickle in Fargo ND. When he was young he enjoyed playing in sports such as baseball, basketball, wrestling, and football. He loved reading books, playing video games, skateboarding, hanging out with his friends and family. He also liked watching and going to the movies and his favorite movies were action and comedies. He had great sense of humor his laughter was contagious. Music was a huge part of his life whether it was listening to it, singing it or writing it. But what he loved most of all spending time with his daughter and playing with her. His bright blue eyes would light up showing that giant proud father smile whenever she was around him. He had several jobs from telemarketing, working at Anderson’s Outpost, Interlauchen Inn and working for Domino’s Pizza; he even enjoyed being his grandpa’s “landscaper” during the summer whether he wanted to or not. He was very proud of his current job with Advanced Builders of MN, inc doing construction/labor, as well as his part time job cleaning foreclosures homes. Another proud moment was after a lot of hard work he received his GED July 2013. Christopher had a smile that could light up the dark and warm you heart when he looked at you. We as a family hope he will not be judged by the actions he has taken. He was loyal, giving and loving to all that knew him, a caregiver to everyone but he was unable to do the same for himself. He was the kind of young man that anyone would be proud to call daddy, son, grandson, brother and friend. His Grandpa Jim, Grandma Laura and Grandma Jo had watched his struggles from heaven, they came to him that Thursday wrapping their wings around him and brought him home to be with his family and friends that passed away before him. He is now watching over his Parents Christine (Tim) Hall, and Jaime (Shauna) Grossnickle, Sisters Sara (Justin) Sullivan, Cassie Hughes, Brother Seth Hall, his grandparents Elvin and Connie Cronquist, Deb Grossnickle, and David Zach. His Aunts and Uncles Danny and Berta Cronquist, Michelle Grossnickle “Uncle Michelle”, Tim Grossnickle , Jessica Cronquist, Dean and Tarene Rood. He will keep special light on his daughter and love of his life Harley Quinn Cronquist as well Jennifer Mathwig her mom. He will also watch over his numerous family members as well as the countless friendships that he cherished so much. Christopher will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.
There will be a visitation on Friday January 2nd 2014 from 4-7pm at Anderson Funeral Home, Memorial Service will be January 3rd at 2pm with a visitation 1hour prior at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel.
